UNITI Project Ended on Sept 30

Since September 30, 2023, the UNITI project is officially history!
From September 21 to 23, a number of colleagues from the UNITI project partners met in Athens for the big final meeting, where they once again worked intensively on outstanding areas of the project. The overarching project goal - the Decision Support System - is already available to the UNITI partners using the EU Tinnitus Database Platform. The first paper on the results of the randomized clinical trial is also about to be completed and submitted. As soon as the paper is accepted and published, you will be notified via the UNITI website.

The Statistical Analysis Plan for the UNITI Project Randomized Clinical Trial is now available! The UNITI trial will be one of the world’s largest tinnitus trials and the first to compare established standard treatments performed alone or in combination. The results of the UNITI trial will provide much-needed evidence to clinicians and are likely to influence international clinical guidelines. The planned statistical analysis is detailed here to provide transparency. For more information about the statistical analysis plan visit here:
Members of the UNITI consortium had the opportunity to meet at Mario Negri Institute (Milan) on the 27th and 28th of June 2023. Strategic decisions were made and a manuscript is being prepared. From an exploitation and sustainability point of view, it was considered important to develop a new questionnaire based on the lessons learnt during the analysis of our results (which questions are important and which ones need to be modified or eliminated). General guidelines will be integrated into the final paper, and the idea is to propose the questionnaire as an appendix to the manuscript.
We are pleased to announce that that we had the opportunity to host a UNITI session at the
